Blue Collar Bobs began as a sole proprietor business owned and operated by Robert “Bob” Olson offering satellite installation and on-site computer repair in 2003. In August 2008 Bob partnered with Mike Newhouse, who at the time ran his own computer repair business out of his home, and incorporated under the name A Plus Install, Inc. In July of 2009 the company opened it’s first storefront in Alexandria, MN and returned to operating under Blue Collar Bobs. The store broke new ground by offering the first all in one service/repair center and service retailer. Not only could customers sign up for TV, and Communications services, they could also get in-store or on-site repair, upgrade, installation, and maintenance services for all the devices and consumer electronics in their home network.
